2,5-Dimethoxy-4-ethylphenethylamine (also known as 2C-E Drug, or commonly as “Aquarust” and “Eternity”) is an unpopular psychedelic substance from the phenethylamine class. It is a member of the 2C-x family of psychedelic phenethylamines, which are closely related to the basic psychedelic mescaline. Like other psychedelics, it is believed to produce its effects by mingling with serotonin receptors in the brain, although the precise mechanism is not understood.
2C-E Drug was first synthesized and tested for human use by Alexander Shulgin in 1977, who documented his studies in the 1991 book PiHKAL (“Phenethylamines I Have Known and Loved”). It started showing up in drug seizures around 2004. Although it is largely distributed online as a research chemical, it is also sometimes distributed on the streets as “mescaline” or “mescaline”. synthetic”.
Chemistry of 2C-E Drug
Subjective effects include open and closed visuals, time warping, enhanced introspection, ego depreciation, and euphoria. Consumer reports characterize 2C-E Drug as a highly unpredictable, dose-sensitive psychedelic capable of producing strong visual distortions with significant “body burden”, which includes nausea and bodily discomfort.
Very few data are available on the pharmacological properties, metabolism and toxicity of 2C-E Drug, and its use in humans is limited. Numerous reports indicate that the safe use of this substance can be significantly difficult for those who are not already experienced with hallucinogens. It is strongly recommended to use harm reduction practices while using this 2C-E pills.
2C-E Canada was first synthesized and tested for human use by Alexander Shulgin in 1977, who documented his findings in the 1991 book PiHKAL (“Phenethylamines I Have Known and Loved”). 2C-E HCL belongs to the so-called “magic half-dozen” which refers to Shulgin’s most influential self-rated phenethylamine-derived compounds, all except mescaline which he developed and synthesized himself. They are found in PiHKAL’s first book, and are: Mescaline, DOM, 2C-B, 2C-E, 2C-T-2 and 2C-T-7.
